A Few Common Backerkit Questions

Hi folks,
For the most part, things are going smoothly with your Backerkit Surveys! Thank you! There are a few common questions that I'd like to tackle now:
Q. WHY DOES MY PLEDGE LEVEL SAY "0 Reward"
A. All pledge levels will say "0 Reward" because Backerkit has already manually placed the items from your actual pledge reward into your cart and are treating them like add ons so that shipping can be calculated using a single shipping table. This ensures that shipping is accurate. I realize this is a bit confusing, but I assure you, this is accurate. : )
Q. WHY DID THE MEEPLE REALTY INSERT INCREASE FROM $35 TO $40?
A. Out of a desire to create something perfect, Meeple Realty slightly increased the size and greatly improved the design of the insert to better accommodate components for all expansions. In doing so, they had to increase the price a little. This will not affect original backers who added this insert their order as we are delivering the improved design to them too, and covering the increase in cost for those original backers.
Q. WHY IS IT SO EXPENSIVE TO SHIP A SINGLE METAL COIN?
A. A small percentage of backers (who ONLY ordered the Royal Steed Coin) are not pleased with the high cost of shipping for a single coin. As I mentioned before, I simply pass along my shipping cost to you. Items under 8 oz. in the United States are roughly $5 and it goes up from there on International shipments of small packages. Naturally, there is a base cost for shipping anything, and then just an incremental cost as the weight goes up. I will not be offended if you wish to cancel your order of the coin.
Q. I'M AN ORIGINAL BACKER. WHEN IT COMES TIME TO SHIP, CAN YOU MERGE MY ORIGINAL ORDER WITH MY QUEEN'S ARMY ORDER?
A. No. Fulfillment centers aim to move product quickly through the warehouse and to the backers. Any items that remain on shelves result in storage charges. Therefore, It would be cost-prohibitive (not to mention a logistical nightmare) to hold back product and pair it with previous orders. Both campaigns are on completely different production, freight and shipping cycles, and have independent ship dates. Thanks for your understanding.
Q. WILL YOU OFFER THE SCORE TRACK COUNTERS AS AN ADD ON IF THE $85K STRETCH GOAL IS NOT REACHED BY THE SPIELESCHMIEDE?
A. The Spieleschmiede recently hit $85K, so all backers will get this for free. : )

Backerkit Surveys (Pledge Manager) on the Way!

Hi Folks!
You will receive your surveys very shortly! This time, we’re doing things a little differently. When you open your survey, you will already have the pledge items you are entitled to in your cart as add-ons. For example, if you are in the $19 “THE QUEEN'S ARMY” pledge level, you will have “1 Copy of The Queen's Army (and Queen's Army Stretch Goals)” in your cart as add-ons (you will see this reflected at the end of your survey). You will then have the option to add additional copies of the game or other items at an additional cost.
We’re doing it this way in order to accurately calculate the weight-based shipping cost of your order. As mentioned on the campaign page, all backers will need to pay shipping through BackerKit. You will see the amount owed for shipping at the end of the survey. Once you’ve paid your shipping costs and completed your survey, you’ll be all set!
The shipping table maxes out at 1600 oz. In the rare case that your order is more than 1600 oz (roughly 50 kg), Backerkit will contact you individually with an adjusted shipping price.
You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!
After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.
If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://Feudum-the-queens-army.backerkit.com
If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use or if you have any other questions, please contact support at https://Feudum-the-queens-army.backerkit.com/faq

Pledge Manager this week!!

Thanks for your patience everyone. Backerkit and I have been working hard on setting up the pledge manager for The Queen's Army. I will be sending out instructions early this week on how it works and what to expect!
If you're still a bit antsy or bored (or both)...well then check out a game that my friend (from across the pond) Martyn Poole has authored. It's called, Robin Hood and the Merry Men. It's a 2-4 player semi-cooperative, but highly competitive worker placement game...coming to Kickstarter, Q4 2017. Martyn has been a wonderful supporter and champion of Feudum and The Queen's Army, so I wanted to give him a shout out. You can like his game's Facebook page if you want. : )

Truth be told…..without backers like you, this campaign would not have happened! Your passion and earnest desire for a solo variant motivated me to collaborate with J.R. Honeycut and engage my artist Justin once again! I am so grateful that I listened because the creation of the Queen’s Army has been such an enriching experience for us all!
You may have noticed that I added a new 85K stretch goal recently because the Spieleschmiede has not yet ended. Even though the U.S. campaign is over, I promise to reward backers here if the goal is realized.
Once again, thank you for believing in us! We hope you enjoy playing The Queen’s Army, as much as we enjoyed making it. We look forward to bringing you thoughtfully designed and intricately crafted games long into the future.
