Hey all you solo backers....
I thought I'd pop back here five years later to tell you about a NEW solo expansion I invented for my newest game, FLED—live on Kickstarter right now! The truth is, if it weren't for several persistent backers from the Queen's Army campaign, my eyes would NOT have been open to the importance of solo play. : )
Anyway, my new game is based on a historic British fort turned island prison off the south coast of Ireland, called Spike Island! You play the role of a prisoner trying to sneak through corridors, sidestep warders and secure the items you need to escape!
Even better for YOU, the solo variant pits you against the clock and "The Specter," a scary ghost that creepily roams the prison.
In the expansion, you add a "ghost corridor tile" to the draw pile. When the tile emerges, the ghost is placed on the tile. For the remainder of the game, whenever a warder is moved, the ghost is moved one space closer to your prisoner meeple. What's worse, is that unlike warders, ghosts are not restricted in movement.... they can go right through walls! This does not bode well for you, for if the ghost reaches your tile, you will lose the solo game instantly.
Anyway, because you're a fan of Feudum, I'm pretty sure you'll see my design style in FLED as well as FLED: The Specter, and really enjoy the game!

Justin and I are very excited to be launching our third Kickstarter campaign and kindly ask that you share the following link (and graphic, if you like) on social media. Greater awareness leads to more unlocked stretch goals for everyone!
Anyone pledging $1 or more will have access to several NEWpurchasable“add-ons” to the Feudum product line—The Guild Tracking Dice, the Playmat Board and the Metal Flight Stand.
Anyone pledging $35 or more will earn Freestretch goals (expansion enhancements and rewards to be revealed during the campaign). All funding raised by backers of the Spieleschmiede (Germany) will also count towards unlocking stretch goals!

Just last week; however, they aired Episode 46 - It's Been Real 2018, where host Nick Northcutt chooses Feudum as his pick for "Best Overall Game 2018"!!!
