Tell me more about the story and characters of Feudum!

The Feudum narrative, although embellished and quite fanciful, is very personal to my life. The Feudum narrative continues from one rulebook to the next. Soon I’ll link the Queen’s Army rulebook so that all backers can read…… the final chapter of the story. If you have not read the story yet, here’s a link to all the rulebooks: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/zkedopqk54dcdvd/AAAI-kLVAZYfH9KMpv6gi0dTa…

Do we have to wait until May 2018 to receive all rewards/add ons? I am perplexed on why there is another Kickstarter when you haven't delivered on the first.

The Queen’s Army campaign has a different production cycle altogether, and ANYTHING backed during THIS campaign will NOT ship until May 2018. (Anything backed during the original campaign will still arrive as promised for that campaign). I understand how this is perplexing! Many folks have told me I’m crazy to offer the expansion, The Queen’s Army now, saying that I”m missing a much better opportunity for sales later (after the base game is in retail)….but…The main reason I decided to push this now is that I’m excited to make The Queen’s Army sooner than later. If I waited after the game debuts in Essen, I wouldn’t launch till November, and that would push the production cycle back by 5 months… Plus, developer (J.R. Honeycutt and Brian Neff) and had some bandwidth to devote to the project and the time was ripe to engage a partner to localize the game in Germany. Finally, the KS was ripe for Gen Con 50 and gives convention goers another opportunity to step into the Feudum world. Finally, I didn’t want to be distracted in 2018 with The Queen’s Army…but continue working on my next game. My hope is that the posted rulebook, along with JR Honeycutt’s preview will instill in backers sufficient confidence to back the game prior to the release of the base game. Naturally, people always have the option to wait until retail to get the Queen’s Army. (But without the Queen’s Army stretch goals).

Which backers are "allowed" to add on the original stretch goals

Technically, any backer here can add a limit of 1 set to their order. However, my hope is that people will understand the spirit of my offer, which is to let NEW backers (who do not have the original stretch goals) acquire them. I do not think that Backerkit offers a feature that excludes certain backers. I’m not sure I want to get into that. (although I will investigate a little further). There are some legitimate reasons, why an original backer might want to acquire a second set. (A gift, for instance verses wanting to resell them)…but, the main intent here is to let backers (who don’t already have them) acquire them.

Why am I now being charged shipping fees?

The Kickstarter Campaign details post-game shipping costs under “All About Shipping.” More and more creators charge shipping after the campaign so that backers who include add-ons can enjoy incremental shipping costs based on the total weight of their order. The standalone weight (.95 kg) and box dimensions (167 x 287 x 89 mm) of The Queen’s Army put it in the “Under 1 kg” shipping category of $11 U.S. The rates are based on a good faith 2018 estimate of carrier rates plus fright. Carriers are expected to increase pricing in January by as much as 4%. QM Logistics will be shipping from International fulfillment centers local to backers so that backer avoid VAT fees.

WHY DID THE MEEPLE REALTY INSERT INCREASE FROM $35 TO $40?

Out of a desire to create something perfect, Meeple Realty slightly increased the size and greatly improved the design of the insert to better accommodate components for all expansions. In doing so, they had to increase the price a little. This will not affect original backers who added this insert their order as we are delivering the improved design to them too, and covering the increase in cost for those original backers.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
